The forum invited well-known domestic experts and scholars and representatives of typical enterprises to offer suggestions on cutting-edge technology, industry development and others, present a panoramic view from the future of technology industry and society, and see through the development opportunities of metaverse, and promote the implementation of metaverse industrial cluster.

How to lay out the metaverse industry track and build the development highland of metaverse industry? Miao Jianhua, president of China Association of Communication Enterprises, said that we should aim at the key directions of the frontier technology, interactive terminals, digital tools and other key directions of the metaverse, guide enterprises to actively layout the emerging business forms of the metaverse, and accelerate the integration of digital technology to enable the real economy. It is possible to build a metaverse industrial pilot area, and form a metaverse industrial ecology with technology leading, enterprise gathering, demonstration application and complete standards. At the same time, a market-oriented operation mechanism has been formed in industrial clusters, application scenarios, innovation platforms, outstanding talents, financial assistance and exhibition platforms, to build a new integrated model of industry-university-research-application-government-finance for the development of metaverse industry, and to accelerate the development of metaverse industry towards clustering.

Zhang Ping, an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, believes that the metaverse is carried by virtual reality Internet applications and needs to be built by integrating a variety of cutting-edge technologies, such as network communication, new interaction, digital twins, artificial intelligence, digital content creation, and blockchain. China must take the initiative to tackle the key core technologies of the metaverse infrastructure, build a safe and controllable Web3.0 metaverse infrastructure, and especially establish a digital payment system of metaverse economy based on E-CNY.

"The development of metaverse requires the coordinated promotion of government and enterprises." Focusing on how to develop the metaverse industry in Hebei Province, Tan Pinghua, deputy director of Hebei Communications Administration, said that Hebei’s information and communication industry will focus on building an intelligent comprehensive digital information infrastructure with high-speed ubiquity, heaven-earth integration, cloud and network integration, intelligence and agility, green and low-carbon, safety and controllability, and promote the construction and application of 5G, gigabit optical network, data center, and industrial Internet.
